Mohamed Aljaifi - Brew Chart & Impressions
This coffee is special, period. When a skilled farmer brings the prized SL-28 varietal to Qima to be treated by their Alchemy process, you know you are in for something unique.
It is sweet, syrupy and boozy. At first, it's like your palate was hit as if you ate a ''flambée'' banana dipped in brandy. It's a whole vibe.
You then experience the intense, syrupy mouthfeel that reminds us of thick coconut cream.
The finish is subtle, like roasted cacao nibs.
Hot tip: using 12-15g recipes can help you have more playing time with this coffee. The aeropress works wonders for those, and so does the Kalita155 and the small origami brewer.
