We are thrilled to launch this coffee from The Lady Specialty in Myanmar. For the second year running, we offer you three different processes! (check out the honey and washed processes as well)
The Lady Specialty Coffee was created in 2017 by two leading producers and innovators of the Myanmar specialty scene, Su Nandar Linn and Thi Ha Gyawalie, to champion and support the women coffee farmers in Ywangan, southern Shan. All of their coffees are produced exclusively by women (from Pa-O and Danu ethnic minority groups). Starting with 51 farmer partners, The Lady now operates in 7 villages and buys from 400 producers.
The Lady Specialty Coffee is founded on the deep desire to help small-scale families and communities within Ywangan with sustainable farming practices, quality control and fair pay. Su Nandar and Thiha train and support their all-female workforce in every aspect of coffee processing, and pay above average prices to farmers in nearby villages for their coffee cherries.

Ce café du Myanmar ressemble à une salade de fruits frais. Il est si vif et frais, parfait pour les cafés froids à l’approche de l’été.
Les notes délicates, le corps riche et onctueux en font un café très intéressant. Nous avons relevé des notes de fleur d'oranger, de litchi et de nougat.
Ce n'est pas notre café préféré comme expresso au lait (essayez le café du Myanmar lavé ou honey), c'est un expresso court unique et cela vaut la peine de l’essayer noir.
Il s'agit d’un café traité par macération carbonique. La fermentation a lieu entre 48 et 72 heures dans des seaux de 25 litres, en éliminant l'excès d'air.
Le café est ensuite séché pendant environ 20 à 24 jours sur des lits surélevés.
